I wonder who will fix all those fancy-shmansy bows if for all imagination sake we do get thrown back into medieval times ^_^ But I’ve always had passion for archery in general so I’ll settle for what I can afford. I think I’ll read up on how to make a set from scratch LOL

@broofer666 i totally agree with you. In fact i refuse to shoot compound or any other modern-like-bow. I will only shoot short and longbows. Infact iv made a couple for my self.

@Deadlockedfan101 living in medieval times has nothing to do with it, it comes down to a personal choice, quite frankly i find the modern day bows are a bit like going to a hair dresser and getting a hair cut..all you do is sit there and the hair dresser does everything for you.

  7. ChatPranks says:

as someone that shoots a longbow and sticks to the traditional side of archery, i refuse to listen to anyone tell me how to improve my accuracy when they have a sight on their bow.

  8. InFidelCastrol21 says:

who the fuk is into dungeons and dragon shit lik medieval longbows anymore.

  9. broofer666 says:

@Deadlockedfan101,u totally lost my point there,i said the skill is being lost and since i posted that comment it has became even more apparent as i have joined an archery club, and now find it hilarious watching guys come in with all the latest and high tech gear try out my longbow and couldnt hit the blind side of a barn yet im every bit as accurate as they are.

  10. Deadlockedfan101 says:

@broofer666 We’ll we don’t live in medieval times now do we?

I think a really good archer can shoot since from a: English Longbow, Comopsite Bow, American Indian Bow, Egyptian Composite Bow… Any bow and not just one of these modern bows witch i tried to wicha re so easy to aim at the target… :)

  12. nekokichi11 says:

@broofer666 I know! with new bows all you have to do is draw the string, the bow does the rest, practically aims too

That thing about the bow hand is nice. I never heard of that, but it could be the key to my improvement. Thank you, papaw.

  24. MindBreakMedia says:

@AlphaTurkey117 well its a hell of a lot quieter than a rifle , and i dont aprove of hunting innocent animals but if one did, it would be much easyer to take out an arrow than a bullet,.
